Clearly the winner is the Oneplus 7 Pro as it has the larger 6.67 inch Quad HD+ AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. You get a 6.39 inch 1080p AMOLED panel in the Redmi K20 Pro which is seen on most of the mid range devices. The screen of the Oneplus 7 Pro is sourced from Samsung and it has high lumens so daytime visibility is good and it also has dark blacks which is good for watching movies and playing games. . 90Hz refresh rate with a Quad HD+ AMOLED panel is a first for a phone .
+1 for OP 7 Pro.
Oneplus 7 Pro has a 48MP rear Main camera with a 16MP Ultrawide and 8MP Telephoto lens . On the other hand you get a 48 MP Main camera with a 13MP Ultrawide camera and 8MP Telephoto on the Redmi K20 Pro.
The front camera of OP7 pro is a 16MP shooter whereas in the Redmi K20 Pro is a 20 MP one . Both are popup type cameras.
Spec sheet wise Oneplus 7 Pro wins but users are reporting less details on pictures taken through rear camera.
So as of now no verdict on the camera comparison.
You get the latest Snapdragon 855 chipset with Adreno 640 GPU on both the devices so performance should be as similar in both the devices .
You get a 12GB Ram configuration with the Oneplus 7 Pro whereas in Redmi K20 Pro it is limited to 8GB of Ram.
+1 for Oneplus .
Xiaomi’s MIUI is a highly customizable UI whereas OP7 pro’s OxygenOS is similar to stock . So it is a matter of personal opinion as to who wants what.
You get a 27 W charger with K20 pro and you get a 30W warp charge with oneplus 7 pro . The battery of both the devices is 4000 mAh . Hence OP7 Pro is slightly ahead in terms of charging department . +1 for Oneplus .
Both the devices look premium from the back as both of them gets a gradient type design but in my opinion the design of the Redmi K20 Pro is better than the Oneplus 7 Pro due to its unique gradient design .
On the front , Oneplus 7 Pro steals the show due to its larger and curved type display which is Samsung is famous for. This one goes to Oneplus as overall it looks premium in terms of design .
+1 for Oneplus
Oneplus over Xiaomi:
- Premium design
- 90Hz display
- 30W Warp charger
- Oxygen OS
- Alert slider
- Quad HD+ panel
- Curved display
- Nightscape 2.0
- Dolby Atmos support
- Liquid cooling technology
- 12 GB Ram configuration
Xiaomi over Oneplus:
- 3.5mm Headphone jack
- Highly customizable MIUI
- Flagship Killer
- Cheaper price tag
At 2499 Yuan(roughly around Rs 25000) it is almost half the price of Oneplus 7 Pro. Though it will be launched in upwards of 30K in Indian market and might be renamed to Poco F2/F2 pro in India.
Clearly the Redmi K20 Pro wins if you consider the price tag and don’t want the fancy features of the Oneplus 7 Pro. Indeed the 90Hz refresh rate makes it a lot smoother but most of the games run a t a 60Hz refresh rate. And 12GB Ram is an overkill as of now unless you want to show off .
Let me know in the comments about what do you think.
