Samsung Galaxy S22 Phone Sizes Are Disclosed in Recent Image Leaks

We’ve already seen a slew of leaks around the Samsung Galaxy S22, but we’re delighted to add to the list:

Fresh images show off what appear to be official screen protectors for all three phones in the lineup, giving us a better understanding of their front-facing designs and relative proportions.

These come from @UniverseIce, a frequent and trustworthy tipper, so they’re more than likely genuine.

The hints they provide are consistent with what we’ve seen in earlier leaks and reports.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is the largest of the three smartphones, with a design that is more Galaxy Note-like, with squared edges — in fact, there has been speculation that the S22 Ultra may be dubbed the Note this time.

According to earlier speculations, the basic Galaxy S22 will feature a 6.06-inch display, the Galaxy S22 Plus will have a 6.55-inch display, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra will have a 6.81-inch display.

That corresponds to the latest photographs that have surfaced on the internet.

The fact that all three models will have punch-hole selfie cameras carved out of the front display is further confirmed by these screen protectors.

According to previous rumors, under-display front-facing cameras would have to wait for the Galaxy S23 upgrade.

Although screen protector accessory leaks like these aren’t the most informative, they do provide further proof for some of the speculations surrounding these phones.

In terms of a release date, they’re expected to arrive in February 2022.

Analysis: Is the Samsung dynasty retaliating?

Samsung Galaxy

Apple and Google have both had good showings in recent months, with both the iPhone 13 and the Pixel 6 impressing us and drawing a lot of attention from smartphone purchasers – which means the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S series phones will have difficult competition.

Over the previous 18 months, Samsung, like almost every other corporation on the globe, has been impacted by the continuing epidemic.

When you consider the worldwide electrical chip scarcity, it’s no wonder that the Galaxy Note 21 was shelved and the Galaxy S21 FE will arrive later than projected.

With that previous history in mind, it will be fascinating to see what Samsung can offer consumers with the Galaxy S22 series.

Of course, these phones will be quicker and better than before, but how much better than their Galaxy S21 counterparts remains to be seen.

The Galaxy S22 Ultra appears to be filling the Note-shaped vacuum in Samsung’s 2022 line-up, and it appears to be the most fascinating of the three phones — replete with compatibility for the S Pen pen and a more sophisticated back camera.
